Cecelia Venolia
After moving to Washington, Cecelia became inspired to paint the flowers and the trees that grew in the Northwest. She painted in acrylic to achieve the depth of color in her nature paintings. It takes layer upon layer to reach her goal. Often Cecelia uses a palette knife to achieve the texture she desires.
Cecelia is a member of EAFA (Eastside Association of Fine Arts), Seattle CoArts, was president of the Greater Marysville Artists' Guild of 2008-2009, and co-chairperson of the Round Robin artists in 2008. Cecelia has continued her art education studying under Irina Kirienko Milton in Everett, WA, Ted Pankowski in Bothell, WA, and Joe Mac Kechnie.
